Hi April,
That's really hard to say as each families budget is different and it also depends on the length of your stay and how many are in your party. Seeing as you have already purchased the Dining Plan (great choice by the way!), you will already have your meals and snacks covered and you may want to purchase an "extra special" dessert or extra snack once in a while but generally you should be covered as far as food goes. The only added expenses I would figure on would be gratuities and souvenirs! If you are on a tight budget, you can always try finding some bargains in the WDW Gift Shops (they usually have some "sale" items throughout the stores and I especially like "Mickey's Mart" located in Downtown Disney for some really good deals...Disney merchandise for $10.00 and under). With the money you save you can buy a few of those "classic" souvenirs that cost a bit more and your kids (I am assuming that you have children) can have some "extra special" gifts as well without breaking the bank!
For the most part, you will have to pay "out of pocket" for gratuities at your table dining experiences, but there are a limited amount of these that do still include gratuities in your plan. Please view the following link for "
Dining Plan Information", where you will see which ones have your gratuities included and which ones don't, so you won't be double tipping! At the top of page 3 on this link you will see a purple "G" and if this "G" is located after any of the restaurants listed then these will be the ones that
include your gratuities.
I can't give you a dollar amount for spending cash, but I am sure that you will bring what your budget will allow and based on what your normal spending habits are! Have a very magical vacation and enjoy your dining!
Best wishes,
Brigitta
