We are planning our first trip to wdw 12/5-12/15. There is 6 of us. We are planning to stay at the Fort wilderness cabins. How soon should we book our trip? Thank you, Jeff

    Hi there Jeff,

The Cabins at Fort Wilderness Resort are one of my family's favorite Disney destinations.  We love coming back to "the Fort" after a long day in the parks to enjoy some of their fantastic entertainment options, including the nightly campfire and sing-along with Chip n' Dale, fishing, bike rentals, etc., and then watching the Electric Water Pageant and Wishes from the Resort's beach.  You've made a fabulous choice!  In addition, the parks and resorts will be all "decked out" for the holidays when you arrive, making your stay even more magical!

As for when to book, I recommend doing so as soon as your dates are firm.  If a special package or deal is announced after you book, you can call back and have the better rate and/or offer applied to your reservation if available.  This way, you ensure that you have your choice of accommodation.  Once you reserve your trip, you can make dining reservations up to 180 days in advance, again, ensuring that you have "pick of the litter" when it comes to securing your top dining choices.

Have a wonderful holiday stay at the Fort!
