I am planning our first trip to WDW. I am overwhelmed on finding places to eat at each park. How do you limit and decided which place would be best for your family?

    Hi, Monica!

There sure are many delicious dining options at the Walt Disney World resort! When it comes to deciding where we would like to make our Advanced Dining Reservations for the Table Service restaurant locations, I let my entire family help me. We read about each restaurant and review the Walt Disney World Resort restaurant menus. Then, each family member is able to choose their favorite. We do not plan out our Counter Service dining locations in advance, however we do also look at the menus for these locations as well so we do have an idea of what types of meals are available. While we are at the Theme Parks, we let our stomachs do the deciding for us.

If you are traveling with younger children who may not able to help, you can still review the menus and make decisions based on foods your family will enjoy. My family certainly has our favorites. The Table Service restaurant we always visit is Teppan Edo. The Chefs prepare your meal right in front of your eyes! My boys always clean their plates - I am not sure if it is because the food is so delicious or because they get such a kick out of watching their meal being prepared in such a fun way. The chefs and servers at this restaurant are amazing and go out of their way to assure you a memorable dining experience. As for Counter Service locations, our Walt Disney World Resort vacation isn't complete without eating at Wolfgang Puck Express at Downtown Disney Marketplace. My boys say the spaghetti there is the best they have ever had. I am only slightly hurt - it is pretty good!

Wishing you and your family a delicious vacation, Monica!

Hi, I’m Rachel! I am a “boy mom” to two rowdy little men at home and married to my high school sweetheart. I am fortunate enough that my prince charming loves all things Disney just as much as I do! For me, planning a trip to Walt Disney World can be just as magical as being there. It brings our family together as we dream, plan, and count down the days. I would be honored to help plan your visit and share in your family’s very own magic! Learn More About Rachel
