We are planning our first trip to WDW Oct 23-28th. We are planning to stay at OKW,but I am wondering how we get to the theme parks. I thought the ferry was used, but now I heard you need your car. Help?

    Hi Anne!

A car isn't required at any of the resorts on Walt Disney World, including Old Key West.  Regular Disney bus service is provided to all of the theme parks and to Downtown Disney.  There is also boat service to Downtown Disney.  You can get more information on the transportation options from Old Key West here.

Old Key West is a beautiful resort and a favorite of many Disney Vacation Club (DVC) owners.  However, the resort is open to everybody; not just DVC members.

Enjoy planning and write back if you have any more questions!
