We are planning our first trip to wdw in Oct! I have already made dining reservations for the character dinning but at that time of year is it necessary to make reservations for all restaurants? We don't want to have to plan so much around reservation

    Hi Tiffannie!

You must be so excited about your very first trip to the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.  You will make memories to last a lifetime!   Great job on getting your advanced dining reservations for your character dining experiences.  Here's my suggestions about making other dining reservations for your trip.  Although the month of October isn't typically one of the busiest, I would still suggest making reservations for those restaurants you simply don't want to miss.  Take a look at all of your options for Disney Dining here.  When you cal (407) WDW-DINE to book, ask what the cancellation policy is for your specific restaurant choice.  You can always cancel within that window, but at least you have the security of knowing that you have those important dining reservations!

I wish you a magical vacation!
