Hi Terri!
Thanks for wishing upon a star and for coming to visit us at planDisney. Come November, you can expect to experience a lot of fanfare on your royal vacation to Walt Disney World Resort.
Since we are still in what we call a
phased reopening of Walt Disney World, some experiences, attractions, and shows are having to wait a bit longer before they can be rolled out. The fan favorite
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique falls in this category. Simply put, the Fairy Godmothers-in-Training need more time before they can wave their magic wands and make royal transformations again.
The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique shop will still be open for your prince or princess to get that outfit of their dreams. So here’s my suggestion: instead of a makeover, take your child on a shopping spree in the shop. They can choose an outfit and then wear it immediately in the park. Then, go on a scavenger hunt to find their character in the park and take a socially distanced selfie! The characters always love to interact with Guests dressed up as their lookalike!
It’s still a mystery when the spell will be lifted and the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique will reopen. This beautiful boutique WILL be back to creating magical makeovers...I guess that will be the day that the glass slipper fits. But I cannot say whether that will happen in time for your November vacation. I do believe that it’s definitely going to happen someday soon, and to quote Cinderella, “Even miracles take a little time.” So let’s hope for that miracle in time for your vacation!
Since it’s unclear what will be the midnight moment for the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique’s return, my final tip as your Fairy Godmother is to keep checking the
Disney Parks Blog. That is where I imagine you will hear the most up-to-date information on this grand reopening.
Terri, the clock never strikes midnight on you asking more questions, so wish away! We will do our very best to “Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo” you the answers. Wishing you a “Happily Ever After” vacation!
