Hi! I am planning our first trip to WDW in May 2013, we are going to get a dining plan that includes one sit down meal a day. We will be with my 5 year old daughter. Do you suggest I book a character meal everyday to use our meals? too much?

    Hi Beth,

If your 5-year old Daughter loves the Disney characters then you can never have too many Character Meals in my opinion.

Some of my 9-year old Sons favourite Character Meals include:-

Ohana's Best Friends Breakfast with Lilo & Stitch at Disney's Polynesian Resort
Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort
Donald's Safari Breakfast at Tusker House in Disney's Animal Kingdom

That said, there are also lots of fun non-character meals - my Son also particularly enjoys:-

Whispering Canyon Cafe at Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort
    Ohana's at Disney's Polynesian Resort
Teppan Edo in the Japan Pavilion at Epcot
Les Chefs de France in the France Pavilion at Epcot

Whatever you decide, I would highly recommend that you make advance dining reservations at your earliest possible opportunity as Character Meals in particular are very popular and do get booked up quickly. Advance dining reservations can be made up to 180 days in advance.

Wishing you a magical trip filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
