I am planning my first trip to WDW in late sepetmber/early october but do not have my vacation package booked yet. Do I need to have my vacation booked first in order to make dining reservations?

    Hi Amy,

You do not need to have booked your trip in order to make advanced dining reservations. You are able to book them right now on the Walt Disney World website HERE or by calling (407) 939-3463.

The only advantage of having booked a vacation package at one of Disney resorts prior to making any advanced dining reservations would be that you are able to make reservations at 180 days in advance for the first 10-nights of your stay.

I would recommend that you make your dining reservations ASAP. Many of the popular restaurants and character meals do get fully booked up months in advance.

    Wishing you a magical trip!
