Hello! We are planning our first trip to WDW (kids 11, 9, 7, 4, 4)! We booked the breakfast buffet with Chef Mickey (Contemporary Resort). We will be in the Magic Kingdom that day - how do we get to the Contemporary Resort and how long will the trip take?

    Hi Michelle!

Congrats on your first trip! Looks like you have a good-sized family there (are those twins I see in those ages?). The entire family promises to have the Time of Their Lives!

Magic Kingdom and the Contemporary resort are literally right across the street from one another. You could walk from Magic Kingdom and get to the Contemporary in less than 15 minutes.

However, my recommendation is to catch the monorail  to take you right over to the Contemporary. The monorail runs frequent enough to where you shouldn't wait too long, and once you're on, it should only take a few minutes to get to the resort.

Hope you and family have a memorable, magical time!
