We are planning our first trip to WDW in july 09. While we have several questions, the one that is most pertinant would be, how is the monorail system for disabled peoples aka how easily accsesible is it to those in scooters; wheelchairs and such?

    Hi Rach!

I'm a big fan of the Disney's my favorite mode of transportation at Walt Disney World!

You will find that the monorails are very accessible for those in wheelchairs, scooters, strollers, etc.  The wonderful monorail pilots will assist those in scooters and wheelchairs by placing a small ramp from the loading platform to the monorail, allowing for easy boarding/exiting of the monorail.

If you have other questions, please don't hesitate to ask.  We are dedicated to answer as many questions as possible.
