Planning first trip to WDW in July. If we decide to stay at two separate resort hotels during our stay, will the resort move our luggage for us, or will we be wasting our day relocating? Also, can we still add on a dining plan later with 2 reservations?

Hi Mallory!  This is a great question to ask as I understand time is of the essence while on a Disney Vacation.  Assuming that both resorts you are staying at are on Walt Disney World Property, then yes, the resorts will take care of moving your luggage to your new resort.  All you will need to do is call Bell Services the morning you are checking out of the first resort and let them know that you will be moving to another resort.  They will come gather your bags and transport them later in the day to your new resort.  All you will need to do is keep your luggage tag you are given and call Bell Services at the next resort later in the day once you check in.  Your luggage would have been transported to the new resort and they will run it straight up to your room.  This allows you to be able to continue your day in the parks and not have to worry about your luggage.  As far as the Disney Dining Plan goes, you may add that on up to 3 days prior to check-in.  If you have two separate reservations, you would need to add the Dining Plan to each reservation.  If they reservations are linked together, then you will just need to add it once.  Hope you have a wonderful, relaxing time in July!

    Have a magical trip,
