We are planning our first trip to WDW in December! If we take a cooler with drinks and food for lunch for our family, is there a place to eat outside or inside the park?

    Howdy Angela!

You may take coolers into the parks.  They must be no larger than 24" long 15" wide and 48" high.  Glass containers (except for baby food) are not permitted, as well alcoholic beverages.

You'll find that there are many places for a quick picnic around the parks.  There is absolutely no need to leave the park to eat your lunch.  You can easily find a place to sit in one of the many counter service restaurants, or if you prefer to dine 'al fresco' there are many places to enjoy a picnic lunch.  Here are a few of our favorite outdoor spots:

Magic Kingdom:  Outside Casey's Corner (GREAT view of the castle)
Epcot:  Outside the American Adventure Pavilion
Disney's Hollywood Studios:  Rosie's All American Cafe
Disney's Animal Kingdom:  tables near Flame Tree Barbeque

    Have a magical vacation!
