We are planning our first trip to WDW in Dec. We will have at that time a 12 yr old princess, a 5 yr old pirate, and a little princess shy of 2. What is the average temp for the end of December and early Jan?

    Hi, Kelly!

I’m so happy to hear you’re planning your first trip to the Walt Disney World Resort with your pirate and princesses! You’re going to have so much fun discovering all the magic of the theme parks as a family.
The average high temperature in Orlando in late December to early January is in the low 70s, and the average low temperature during that time is in the high 40s to low 50s. Afternoons will likely be warm, but mornings and evenings can be brisk, so it’s best to dress in layers and plan to bring a light jacket. Humidity may still be on the higher side, but rainfall should be at a minimum.

I hope this helps, Kelly, and that you enjoy a wonderfully pixie-dusted first visit to “The Most Magical Place on Earth!

    Wishing you magic,
