We are planning our first trip to WDW with our 3 boys, ages 7,5, and 2. We are looking at August 18-24 or November 17-21. Can you give me your opinion on which is a better time, we are looking for the least busy time. Thanks

    Hi Susan:

Although Disney World tends to attract crowds pretty much all year long, you'll likely find that Disney World is less crowded when schools are in session.  My best guess is that the November dates you propose should be the better time to go (plus a lot cooler).  You'll find the Parks get crowded during Thanksgiving week, however your vacation starts the prior week.  You may find that crowds will start to trickle in during the weekend prior to Thanksgiving, but the Parks tend not to get "Thanksgiving crowded" until the Tuesday prior to Thanksgiving.  The summer months at Disney World tend to be crowded, with crowds tending to ease starting the last week of August when schools and school sports programs start to resume.  Given that, and traveling with young boys who may be affected by the summer heat, I would lean towards the November dates.

    Enjoy your vacation.
