I am planning my first trip to WDW Aug 17-24. I had originally planned on utilizing the extra magic hours to get the most out of my time there, but I have been reading that these hours may be even more crowded during "peak" times. Is this true?

    Hi Mindy,

Great question!  From my experience, the park that is hosting the extra magic hours is typically the busiest of the four theme parks.  I'm guessing this is because the guests that do not have park hoppers will typically opt to get the most out of their one park for the day, and attend the extra magic hours host park.

Typically the extra hours aren't too crowded (as they are limited to resort guests only), so often we will do the morning EMH, and then hop to one of the other three parks in hopes of finding lighter crowd levels.

Hope this helps, have a great trip!
