    We are planning our first trip to Walt Disney World. We have a 5 yr old and a 16 month old. We are planning on a budget and wonder if we should concentrate on just the Magic kingdom and the animal kingdom?

    I think Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom are EXCELLENT choices. If you can only go to 2 parks with a 5 and 1 year old, I'd do those two.

    Animal Kingdom is always my first choice for a 2nd park because it is just so fun--lots of rides, shows AND exploration. The great thing about Animal Kingdom is that it is a small park and closes early. So, if you were thinking of doing another park, you could park hop to see fireworks after going to Animal Kingdom!

    Whatever you decide, it will be MAGICAL!
