I am planning our first trip for my son's 6th birthday in Oct. Are there any special events that we can look in to?  I always hear about Princess Meals but what do they have geared to boys.

There is tons of stuff to do to celebrate a birthday!!!  Yes, absolutely, seems there is an abundance of Princess meals, but there are some that are cool for the dude, as my daughter said to me when we were there last fall.  Donald Duck has a breakfast in DinoLand in the Animal Kingdom.  Donald invites all of his fossil-digging friends to a Prehistoric Breakfast, it's an all you can eat buffet.

A place where we have spent many birthday dinners is Chef Mickey's located inside the Contemporary Hotel.  The food is fabulous, the theme of the meal is Celebration which goes hand in hand with a birthday party.  You can order a birthday cake a day or two ahead of time and then at the end of dinner it will be delivered to your son, sometimes, Mickey brings it himself...He brought it to my daughter on her birthday.   Once you get to the parks, stop in at guest relations and pick up a birthday button for your little boy.  Cast members will be wishing him a Happy Birthday all day long, and he can wear it all week.  It just adds a bit of magic and the memory will stay with him forever.
Have a great trip!!! Heather M.
