Planning first trip in October 8-15 2011, can you tell me how the crowds and weather usually are at that time?

Due to the Columbus Day holiday, Sunday will likely be the most crowded day of your week. Many families will extend their weekend and travel home on Monday.

The rest of the week should have low to moderate crowds. We are anticipating an October vacation as well so I've been doing lots of research on this time of year at WDW.

Average temps are a pleasant 65-85 degrees each day with less than 3 inches of rain for the entire month.

Don't forget that Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will be offered on select nights. It's well worth the price of the party tickets to be able to trick-or-treat in the Magic Kingdom!
