I am planning our very first trip in November 2009 with 2 children 4 and 8. I was wondering what the BEST Moderate resort was to choose. I am looking for something clean, good food, and easy access to the parks.

    Hi Jolene!

Thanks for writing.  I am a bit of a neat freak (well, ok, more than a bit) myself, and am pleased to report each of the moderate resorts at Disney has passed my "neatness test" with flying colors!  In fact, I've never stayed at a Disney resort that was less than clean.  As for which resort is best, my boys are partial to Caribbean Beach Resort.  This property is spectacular with many pools, including a fabulously-themed pirate pool area, complete with a ship-wrecked pirate boat with slides, water canons and water falls.  The newly-refurbished Pirate and Nemo rooms are adorable, and a perfect place to call "home" while on vacation at Disney World.  Access to the parks at all of the moderate resorts is via bus transportation, which we find convenient and reliable.  At Caribbean Beach, there is a large food court with a variety of options, as well as a great table-service restaurant, Shutters, which steak, chicken and fish entrees as well as a delicious chocolate cake!

    Have a great trip!
