Planning first trip in Nov. 2 questions...Port Orl Riverside or Coronado...and why. Also - we are family of 5 with 13, 10 and 6 year olds. Can we all fit into 1 room at Riverside, or should we do 2 adjoining. Only have a few days left to make changes.

    Hi Gina,

If I were trying to decide between Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside or Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, it would be a tough choice.  However, I think I would opt for Port Orleans because it is connected by waterway to Downtown Disney.  Having the option to take a delightful boat ride down the Sassagoula River to shop or dine at Downtown Disney while on vacation would be delightful.  Otherwise, these two resorts are comparable in the amenities they offer and quality of their theming.

If you do select Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside, your party would fit into a room in the Alligator Bayou section of this resort.  Several of these rooms have trundle beds that would accommodate your six-year-old as the fifth guest.  You would have more room if you opt for two adjoining rooms, but that would certainly be the more expensive option.

Good luck, Gina, as your magical vacation approaches!
