    We are planning our first trip! Looking for adivce on a place to stay with our 5 1/2 & 2 1/2 year old daughters, where we can choose to relax by a pool or head to a park!!!

    Hi Tammy!  The deluxe resorts will offer the closest locations to the parks as well as have the most elaborate pool areas for the kids.  In this category I recommend the Polynesian, Yacht Club and Beach Club resorts.

    In the moderate category I suggest the Caribbean Beach and also Port Orleans.  For a resort in the value category my recommendation is Pop Century.

    All Disney resorts have great areas to relax and great pools.  Some resorts are close to parks and most others you will need to use the Disney complementary bus transportation.
