Planning first trip and feel so overwhelmed. What is the best way to start?

Hi Melanie.  Yes, it may seem like a daunting task planning your first Disney Trip.   However, here are a few suggestions.

First, start by visiting this on-line Disney Vacation guide designed for first time visitors to Disney World.  It will walk you through all the items you need to consider, including Hotels and Tickets.   Also, if you have some time before you need to book your travel plans, I strongly recommend ordering the Disney Vacation Planning DVD.    While it may take a few weeks to receive the DVD, its a great tool and is a really fun way to get your family excited about your upcoming visit.

Lastly, if you choose to book your vacation through Disney (another good suggestion to help reduce any apprehension), the Disney representative will answer any questions and help you guide through any other items to consider.    Hope this helps and don't worry, Disney makes it easier than many first-time visitors believe to plan their trip.
