I am planning a first trip in Feb 2016 for our 6 year old birthday and my husband and myself. I cannot book anything yet, but once I can, how and where do I get started? Also, we will be on a bit of a budget with a little leeway. Thanks.

    Hi Olivia!

You must be eagerly waiting to plan such a magical visit to Walt Disney World Resort and I can definitely understand why with such wonderful occasions to celebrate!

February is a fantastic time to visit. You should be able to start planning your vacation soon. Historically, vacation packages are released for the next year in mid to late summer. I recommend keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for an official announcement. Once they have been released, start by playing with your options through the planning tool on the Walt Disney World homepage. With it, you can choose which resort category, how many days, what type of tickets, etc. to begin making a plan that fits your budget. Be sure to also check the Special Offers page frequently to view the current deals available.

As you begin planning your magical vacation, please let us know if there is anything else we may assist you with. We are happy to help make your dreams come true!

Hi-ya, Pals! I'm Lauren, a wife and mother of three who's enjoyed many special occasions at Walt Disney World Resort with my family and friends. From graduations to birthdays, and even our Fairy Tale Honeymoon we’ve loved celebrating at the most Magical Place on Earth. I now have pre-teens who check wait times in the My Disney Experience App just for fun, so I look for any excuse to return "home" often and would love to help you plan a little extra Pixie Dust for your next magical adventure.
