    Hello!! We are planning our first trip as a family with our 2 y/o son. We just officially adopted him and are coming to celebrate. Our son is a HUGE Cars fan amd we are looking for any maybe not as well known Cars activities besides the race academy.

    Congratulations on such a SPECIAL moment! This is surely going to be unforgettable for your family. Thank you for allowing the Disney Parks Moms Panel to be a part of your celebration - it is an honor!

    It seems like your 2-year old will amazed to discover Lightning McQueen and his pals at Disney's Art of Animation Resort. I'm a 30-year old and I was!

    This resort not only has amazingly themed Cars Family Suites, but it also has an area where your little Mouseketeer will find Lightning McQueen, Sheriff, Doc Hudson, Ramone, Flo, Luigi, Guido, Mater, Fillmore, Sarge, and Salley!

    If staying at the Cars Family Suites is not the best choice for your family on this trip, you can still visit this Resort and meet Lightning McQueen and his friends!

    To be sure to take advantage of free parking to visit this Disney Resort, Guests are welcome to enjoy complimentary self-parking at Disney Springs and take a bus ride to Disney's Art of Animation Resort. Since the buses to this location depart from the Disney Springs Bus Station at The Landing, I'd advise you to park your car at the right end of the Orange Garage and hop on the bus. 

    You may then take your time at Disney's Art of Animation Resort, enjoy a meal at one of the five mini-restaurants at the Landscape of Flavors and visit other fun friends. I enjoyed exploring the forests of Simba's kingdom to find his pals and "diving" under the sea to meet Nemo and the mermaid royals Ariel and King Triton. Beware of a few dangerous villains, as they are also around!
