    We're planning our first trip as a family and are going to be purchasing the Deluxe Dining Plan. Another family will be joining us who will not have a dining plan. Can we use our dining credits to buy meals for them?

    Hi Ashley! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    I greatly enjoy the flexibility of the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan! My family has dined at most of the character dining, Table-Service locations, Fine/Signature restaurants and even dinner shows, found at the Walt Disney World Resort ... all thanks to this incredible dining plan!

    Beginning in 2017, Guests on the dining plan are now able to use their dining plan entitlements for those dining with them that are not on the dining plan. Everyone on your resort hotel reservation must all be on the same dining plan, but if your friends are not staying with you on your reservation, then you can use your entitlements for them. 

    Be sure to make your Advance Dining Reservations in advance, up to 180 days prior to your check-in date. This will really help you get the best value out of your dining plan at the locations you are most excited to try! Happy planning!
