We are planning our first trip as a family to Disney World in early December with our two daughters, 4 and 2. What is a good hotel to stay in that would appeal to them. We will have a car and it would be nice to have some breakfast/snacks in the room.

Hi Suzann! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

December is such a magical time of year to visit the Walt Disney World Resort. The Resort hotels and Theme Parks are decorated so beautifully it always seems to take my breath away. There are a lot of really great holiday activities and offerings such as the Candlelight Processional and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. The weather is usually also very comfortable though it can get a bit cool in the evening so I recommend bringing some pants and a jacket for those cool December evenings.

If I had to pick a Resort hotel that is perfect for Pre-School Kids and Little Ones it would have to be Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. This Resort hotel is my kid’s favorite! This resort makes you feel like you are in some of the best Disney Pixar films. From Cars to the Little Mermaid the room themes are truly out of this world. We love the pools, lobby, and even the Landscape of Flavors food court. All of the family suites at this hotel offer a bedroom with one Queen sized bed, one Double-Size sleeper sofa, one Double-Size Table Bed, two bathrooms, and even a kitchenette perfect for storing perishable foods and snacks. What we love most about this Resort hotel is the size of the suites. My family doesn’t feel crowded when we are all here!

Even though you will have a car you are still invited to take advantage of the Complimentary Resort Transportation. The Disney Buses will transport you with ease to all of the Theme Parks, Water Parks (please check operating schedule), and Disney Springs.

I hope that you find the Resort hotel of your dreams! Have an #Unforgettable time!
