Planning our first trip ever with our soon to be 5 yr old daughter. We are planning for October. I have read so much on Disney (books, blogs and tons of reviews) that I'm having a hard time deciding on anything! Any suggestions? I'm already stressed.....

    Hello, Sherri!

What an exciting time for you and your family!

Planning your first trip to Walt Disney World can be stressful, especially if you want to make it just perfect.  Just remember that there are so many options for wonderful opportunities, it's just a matter of booking those that are most important to you. It's all good!

Now, relax and let's start planning!

You're planning for October, which is during the Wine and Food Festival at Epcot; you'll love it!

Next, decide on an approximate budget for lodging.  What's most important to you?  Must the pools have a slide? Do you want to be within walking distance of any park? Do you want to have a kitchen (or mini-kitchen) in your room? Knowing what's more important to you will help you to choose what will make you happy while enabling you to save a little $ at the same time.

Then, consider Dining.  There are specials available at this time for arrivals as late as September 29th. If you can take advantage of one of these deals, the money saved by getting a free Dining Plan can be quite significant.  Contact Disney at (407) 939-7414 to determine if rooms are available to your liking.  Even if they are not available at this time, considering how your family will most likely want to dine will also help you determine if you'll add a Dining Plan on to your vacation package.

Make me a list of your preferences and I'll walk you through your options. From there, it will be easy to help you book any dining reservations as well as other activities to help make your special little princess's first visit to Walt Disney World as truly magical as it can be!  Send me more questions! I'd love to help!
