Planning first trip ever to Disney for October 1,2015 on a budget. It will 2 adults, two kids (8 and 7). I would love to go for 7 days and have a dining plan for $2500 or less. Is this possible? Any help/tips would be amazing.

    Hi, Paula!

I am so very excited that you have asked this question. Many families do not realize how affordable a Disney World Resort vacation can be. I have sat down with several friends and family members and showed them what a value their magical vacation can be. Your budget is no exception!  HAPPY DANCE TIME!!!

Now that you have recovered from your dance - here are the details. There is currently a wonderful special that is taking place during your travel dates, which helps to keep your trip within your budget. By taking advantage of the One Delicious Offer – It’s Free!, the majority of your meals are already taken care of. To book your vacation using this special offer, click on the link I have provided and then select 'Check Availability'. To stay within your budget, simply chose a resort under the Value category. Once you have selected a resort, select a 'Standard Room'. Next, choose a ticket option. I would suggest a 7 day Theme Park ticket with park hopper option (less days if you wanted a day or two away from the Theme Parks). At the bottom of this page, it will say 'Select Dining Plan'. Chose either the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan or the Disney Dining Plan. You may also add Memory Maker if you would like. Finally, proceed to checkout and your magical vacation is officially in the books. You have my permission for another happy dance!!

Paula I am not sure if you plan to arrive via air or car. Please keep in mind that my calculations do not include travel. Also, prices and resort availability are subject to change, so I would advise making the reservation as soon as you are sure this package would be right for you.

Wishing you and your family a magical vacation, Paula!

Meet the Panelist: Rachel, Wisconsin

Hi, I’m Rachel! I am a “boy mom” to two rowdy little men at home and married to my high school sweetheart. I am fortunate enough that my prince charming loves all things Disney just as much as I do! For me, planning a trip to Walt Disney World can be just as magical as being there. It brings our family together as we dream, plan, and count down the days. I would be honored to help plan your visit and share in your family’s very own magic! Learn More About Rachel
