Hi! We are planning our first trip to DW the week of April 23-28 to celebrate our 2 girls birthdays ages 4 and 6. Wondering what the crowd level and weather might be like then? And any specific tips for these ages...

It is so much fun to celebrate special events at Walt Disney World and birthdays are the best. I have two little girls who we took when they were 3 and 5 and we had such a great time. For their birthday celebrations I would suggest you start at the Magic Kingdom. Head on over to City Hall on Main Street U.S.A. and get them little princesses their personalized Celebration Recognition Buttons and even a phone call on the cool antique phones from Goofy with birthday wishes. I would couple that with some 'it's my birthday' Mickey Mouse Ears. With these on both cast members and guests will be offering birthday wishes to them throughout the visit which makes everything even more special. Crowd levels should be back to normal after the drawn out Spring Break crowd, so it should be a great time to visit the Happiest Place on Earth. Have a great vacation.
