Planning first trip to DW October 1-8. My son's 7th birthday is 2 days before we arrive and we will celebrate during our visit. Is it imperative that we make ADR, or due to the time of year, no need to? Also should we make dining with character ADR

    Hi Rebecca,

Regardless of the time we visit, we always make advanced dining reservations.  Even with lighter crowds, many restaurants fill up.  I would encourage you to do the same so you know you have a spot, and the reservations can always be cancelled if you change your mind.

We also have always enjoyed dining with characters; I love that they come to us rather than our waiting in line to see them.  If you click here, you can explore many of the character dining options and even make your reservations online. You may also want to visit www.disneyfoodblog.com for more dining information; it is an extremely informative site with lots of reviews/photos.

Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel; please let us know if we can help again.
