    Hi! We are planning our first trip to DL in April! Since it’s our first trip there, we want to stay 2 different places, the 2nd being the DL Hotel. If we buy 5 day tickets with the DLH res, can we pick them up/activate a few days before our checkin? -Robin

    Thanks so much for bringing your Disneyland Resort question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I’m thrilled to hear you’re planning your first visit to the Happiest Place on Earth. There’s nothing quite as magical as walking in the footsteps of Walt Disney himself!

    Vacation packages from the Walt Disney Travel Company include souvenir theme park tickets and a stay at one of the three Disneyland Resort Hotels or at a nearby Good Neighbor Hotel, which allows you to be close to the magic for less a Disney-approved property. When you purchase one of these vacation packages, you are able to make payments after an initial deposit and pay off your trip gradually. Plus, packages currently include a Magical Extras Savings Card (offering discounts and values at many dining and merchandise locations throughout the Downtown Disney District) and an exclusive collectible Disney pin, lanyard and luggage tag set for each person in your party! 

    For all vacation package reservations, travel documents and tickets are delivered to the Front Desk of your hotel and are available for pickup on the date you are scheduled to check-in. Since you cannot pick up your package items prior to your check-in date, I suggest beginning your vacation at the Disneyland Hotel to obtain your theme park tickets. You can check-in as early as you like that day to pick up your documents, but hotel rooms are generally not available until after 4:00 p.m. You are welcome to store your luggage with Bell Services and begin your theme park adventures right away!
