Planning on a first trip to Disneyland next year! Wanting to stay on property but realized the reservations are not available yet. Is there any way to know when these will open?

Hi there, Kelly!  You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney!

I'm so excited to hear that you're planning your first visit to Disneyland Resort!  I think you'll find that there's something so special about walking in Walt's footsteps in his first park.  Now that we're celebrating 100 years of Disney, it's the perfect time to start thinking about your trip.

While it's never too early to start dreaming about a future Disneyland Resort vacation, it looks like you might have to wait just a little longer before you book your 2024 stay at one of the Disneyland Resort Hotels.  We haven't heard the exact date that 2024 resort hotel reservations will open for booking, so keep checking back.  It's also a good idea to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for all of the latest news and announcements.

In the meantime, I recommend doing a little research on the three Disneyland Resort Hotels to decide which one you'd like to call your home away from home.  Our planDisney Resort Hotel Pocket Guides are great resources for selecting the resort hotel that's right for you.  While you can't go wrong with any of the Disneyland Resort Hotels, my personal favorite is the Disneyland Hotel.  I love all the little nostalgic touches that pay homage to Disneyland Resort's history, and the headboards on the guest room beds are nothing short of magical!

As you plan for your trip to Disneyland Resort, please stop by with any additional questions that you might have.  My fellow planDisney panelists and I are all ears!  See ya real soon!
