Hello, Thania,
Isn't it so much fun to begin planning your first trip to Walt Disney World? For me, staying at a Disney resort is also a big part of the experience. Since you'll be visiting with a 4 year old daughter, I do have a few ideas that reflect a variety of budgets.
First,
Disney's Art of Animation captures of the magic of Disney movies perfectly. You'll feel as if you have walked right into these movies:
Finding Nemo,
The Lion King,
Cars, and
The Little Mermaid. The resort has both family suites and standard rooms as well as an amazing pool that happens to be the largest on property.
Second,
Disney's Port Orleans-Riverside has Royal Guest Rooms where you daughter can explore little surprises in the room left by visiting Disney favorites.
Third,
Disney's Contemporary Resort isn't as themed as the latter resorts, but it is pretty amazing to have the monorail going right through the middle of the resort. It is also nice to be within walking distance of the Magic Kingdom, especially if you'd like to take breaks during the day. If you'd really like to splurge, the rooms with the views of the Magic Kingdom are wonderful.
And finally,
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is such a unique resort experience with its rich African theming. The savannah view rooms that look out onto the animals are an amazing experience for guests. It isn't too often that giraffes and zebras are right outside your resort!
Please look these over and if you have further questions, please let us know. Wishing you a magical trip!
