    we are planning our first trip to disney world and wanted to know when they decorate for christmas? thanks

    Hi Jessica!

    This is a great question. The Magic Kingdom will be decorated soon after Halloween and will be ready for the first Mickey's Very Merry Chistmas Party in early November. The other parks and resorts generally get decorated during the month of November and most decorations are up by Thanksgiving. However, a couple of Christmas related activities don't generally start until after Thanksgiving. I personally think a great time to go is the first two weeks of December; that is my absolute favorite time of the year to visit.
