We are planning our first trip to Disney World for the end of Sept-2012. What is the easiest resource to use for someone who knows nothing? Where to stay, eat etc? AK, MK are for sures and we want to see Sea World. Is that possible? Thanks!

    Hi there, Tina!

While the best resource around is for sure the Walt Disney World Moms Panel, there are many other unaffiliated fan sites that can help you decide - based on your own criteria - where to go and what to see.

You might want to start by checking out some of the guides to Walt Disney World, available in your local bookstore. These are often classified: on a budget, with small children, etc., and can help your tailor your needs specifically to your travel party. With some guidance from you in those areas, I will be glad to point you to some of the most relevant books available for you.

From there, you'll want to create a list of top-fives: must-rides, must-meets, must-eats, and must-dos. After your research, these priorities will come much clearer. You might find out, for example, based on your work, that Disney's Animal Kingdom isn't as good of a fit for your travel party as, say, Epcot.

We here at the Moms Panel are absolutely ready to offer our own guidance. Please feel free to drop any of us a note with your specific questions. But we will need to know some specifics: how long are you staying? Are there any children in your travel party? What are their ages? Do they have any special requests (i.e., "I've just GOTTA meet Mickey Mouse!"), etc?

We are here to answer any and all of your questions, so ask away!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
