We are planning our first trip to Disney World for December 28- January 3. Are the Christmas decorations and festivities still going on during this time? I was really hoping to see it still decorated

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Raina!

I’m thrilled to learn you are gearing up for your first magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation! I hope it’s the most magical vacation yet and that it’s the first of many more.

Raina, you are in for a treat! Visiting the Walt Disney World Resort is always magical, but the Holidays are just a little extra special. From the dazzling decorations throughout the parks and resort hotels to the special events, it’s a truly magical time to visit!

Although some of the special events will have ended by the time you arrive, the decorations will definitely still be up and there will still be plenty of chEAR to enjoy! At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you will be able to enjoy the Flurry of Fun through December 31st.  And at Epcot, the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays will run through December 30th.

While you are visiting, be sure to make some time to see the stunning décor at the resort hotels like the life-sized gingerbread creations at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney’s Beach Club Resort, and Disney’s Contemporary Resort. They are a SIGHT!

I hope you have a very merry time during your visit! I can’t think of a better place to ring in the new year than the most magical place on earth. If you have any additional questions as you continue to dream up and plan your visit, please don’t hesitate to bring them our way.

    Have a magical day,

    Emille
