We are planning our FIRST trip to Disney (FL)! Mom, Dad, Son (age 7), Son (age 6), possibly daughter (age 2). PLEASE, help us decide when to go! Looking for time when crowds are at minimum!! What about prices and weather at this time of year?? THANKS!!!

My favorite times to be in Disney World are during the off-peak times when Park crowds are low!

The first really great time is after Thanksgiving into the first couple of weeks of December.  One great perk of this time is that all of the Holiday decorations are up and they are amazing!  The weather is mild mid day and the early mornings and late evenings are cool enough for a sweatshirt or hoodie.  My family wears lots of layers during this time.

Also, the first couple of weeks in February are low crowds...that ends with President's Day weekend when the crowds get huge!  February weather in Disney World can be chilly, so layers will be your friend again!

Peak season and off peak seasons rise and fall depending on Holidays when Schools are most likely out.  So if the kids are out of School on Holiday then the rest of the Nation probably is too and they all want to be in Disney World!

During off peak season just like the crowds and temperatures the amount of money you spend will be lower and you can get great deals at the Resorts.

Thank you for visiting with us here at Disney World Moms Panel and I hope your first Disney trip is Magical!
