Planning our first trip to Disney for March 2013 with 2 adults and 5 kids (10, 8, 7, 5 and 3). Where do you suggest we stay for such a large group? Or, do you suggest 2 rooms? If we reserve 2 rooms, will we for sure get adjoining rooms?

    Hi Jami!

Thank your for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.  You could look at a Disney Deluxe Villa, which are fabulous.  My favorite are the Villas at Wilderness Lodge and the Beach Club Villas.  I also like the villas at the Animal Kingdom Lodge and Bay Lake Tower.

However, the villas may not be in your budget.  In that case, I would recommend getting two connecting rooms at any resort.  The Disney Deluxe Resorts have more services and amenities than a Disney Moderate Resort; in turn, the Disney Moderate Resorts have more services and amenities than a Disney Value Resort.

It's been my experience that I can always get adjoining rooms at a Disney resort, but I can't always get connecting rooms.  However, I have never tried to get adjoining rooms during the week between Christmas and New Year's, which is one of the busiest weeks at Walt Disney World.  Since you are planning to go in March,  and Easter is in April this year, I think you will be okay.

I hope this helps!  Good luck with your decision, and please write back with more questions!
