We are planning our first trip to Disney in late November. The Candelight Processional at Epcot will be happening. My question is re: the Candelight dinner packages. How likely are we to get a seat if we do not get a dinner package?

Hi Michael!  The area that holds the Candlelight Processional is quite large with many seats.  The beauty of the dinner package with this is that you are guaranteed a seat for your performance time. You will wait in a line and it is then first come first get the seats but you know you will have one somewhere.  Those that choose to stand in the non package line will find it much harder to get a good spot to watch this show.  Sometimes the line can be so long that you can't even get in for the next show but must remain in line for the show that follows.

I think you need to decide how much line waiting you want to do for this vacation and for this event. Thanksgiving weekend will have large crowds and since it will be the beginning of the Candlelight Processional the lines will be quite long. Week nights will be a little easier but one never can predict the crowd patterns.
