We are planning our very first trip to Disney for our kids. Could anyone lead me in the right direction on getting the best deals for meal plans, dinning with the characters, getting my daughter dressed up like a princess...etc.

    Hi, Heather!

What an exciting time for you family! Your first trip to Walt Disney World!

    Where to begin...?

First, take a look at Special Offers which are available now at WDW. If any of those packages or deals work for your family, you might want to book one now. Of course, if those don't work for you, keep checking that site as additional deals become available.

While on Walt Disney World's website, play around with different dates, resorts and options in your packages to see how your choices affect the package cost and choose accordingly. We love adding the Disney Dining Plan to our stays because we know that we'll save quite a bit of money while enjoying truly fantastic meals. You can use your Table-Service entitlements to dine at several character meals, too, meaning you'll spend less time in line for autographs and photo ops in the parks, since you've already met so many characters!

Be sure to check out either of the two locations of Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique so that your little princess can get a royal makeover from one of the Fairy Godmothers-in-training. Book a meal with the princesses once her makeover is complete, either at Cinderella's Royal Table or at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, in Epcot's Norway Pavilion. She'll love it!

Send more questions as you plan, Heather! There is so much to tell you! :-)
