Hello all, I am planning are first trip to disney. We are a family of four with two girls that are 6 and 2. I was wondering which parks would you recommend for children of this age? Thanks, Andrea

This is a very common question asked by first visitors to Walt Disney World.  I think that everyone pictures the castle and the magic of the Magic Kingdom and it makes that park alone the most popular.  But I hesitate to say that the others are not as fun as I can't imagine a visit without hitting each of them for at least a day!

My grandson loves the attractions at EPCOT such as Turtle Talk with Crush and Imagination. Many families avoid that park feeling it is too "old" but I think it is worth at least a 1/2 day visit.  Just the beauty and tranquility of walking around is worth it to me.

I suggest you click HERE and go to RECOMMENDED AGES at the bottom left.  Click on the age group or groups that are appropriate for the ages of your children and see what the Disney list is for that age to do in each park.  Review that and decide if you have the time and desire to go to all parks or just narrow it down.  If you have the time I think it is good to experience all four parks so you can plan for the next vacation knowing a little more.
