Hi! We are planning our first trip to Disney for everyone in my family, and I am wondering about something I haven't seen mentioned: Park bathrooms! I have a little one still potty training, how hard are they to find, are there always long lines?TY!

    Hi Cheramy!

Thank you so much for your question!  I consider myself a bit of a bathroom snob.  The bathrooms at Walt Disney World are by far the cleanest and most accessible that I've seen.  We've never had an issue waiting in line with a potty-training toddler, but we also know that sometimes the most convenient bathrooms will be the most crowded.

We know all of the bathrooms on property, as traveling while pregnant and with 2 (currently potty-trained) children will give you a personal relationship with them really quickly!  Make sure before you head to the parks that you make a mental note of all the restrooms near where you will be (by checking the park maps).   Also, be prepared for accidents, as they do (and tend to) happen while on vacation.  I made sure that we stuck to our 'at home potty schedule' as closely as possible, but I'd also pack an extra pair of pants and undies just in case.

Walt Disney World has no shortage of bathrooms, so you should have plenty of new ones for your little one to explore!

Another helpful tidbit is that there are bathrooms located in the Baby Care Centers (BCC) in each park, which are usually less busy and a little more 'private'.  The bathroom located in the BCC in DIsney's Hollywood Studios even has a child-height potty!

    Have a magical vacation!
