We are planning our first trip to Disney 12/6-12/12 with our 3yo DD. Plus, my husband has never been either! My question is, if we purchase a dining plan, do we get any credits for the arrival day and for the departure day?

    Lindsey:

Thanks for coming to the Disney Mom's Panel for your first visit!

The credits you receive for the dining plan are based on the number of nights you will be staying on property.  So, if you're planning on a 5-night stay with the Basic Dining Plan, you'll receive 5 table credits, 5 counter service credits and 5 snack credits per person.

If you plan full days of fun on both your arrival and departure days, I'd suggest saving up a few snack credits for departure day!  (Our family's experience has been that by the end of the week on the dining plan we are stuffed!)

Wishing you a magical first visit!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
