We are planning our first trip to Disney with our 3 boys. At Hollywood and Vine, is there a specific time you should plan for breakfast if you want to see the characters and musical or are you likely to see it no matter what time your reservation is for?

Howdy Steve!!  I'm so excited for your family!!!  Your 1st trip to Walt Disney World Resort!!!!  FABULOUS!!!

Disney Junior Play ‘n Dine at Hollywood & Vine is our favorite breakfast buffet (currently we have a 7 year old little girl and 4 year old little boy).  The food is fabulous and the kids love seeing the characters.  The added bonus of the opportunity to get into Disney's Hollywood Studios prior to opening is a plus as well!!

Regardless of the time you book your reservation, all of the characters at the restaurant should visit your table and you should be able to see them sing and dance at some point during your meal.  The standard "Character appearances and entertainment are subject to change," does need to be noted.

We dined at Hollywood & Vine last May and it was wonderful.  If you are able to get everyone up and moving quickly, I would suggest that you reserve one of the earlier time slots.  While this is not necessary, it is fabulous.  For about 5 minutes, we had the restaurant virtually to ourselves.  It gave us time to get settled, hop over to the buffet before there were any lines and we saw Handy Manny within seconds of arriving at our table.  Our experience would have been just as magical had we not have arrived so early but I will, most likely, make a reservation for one of the first available times next visit as well.

I couldn't be more excited for you!  If your boys are old enough, you might want to add Jedi Training Academy to your must do list.  (As recommendation by my 4 year old!)

Thanks so much for your question and please let me know if you need any further information as you plan for your vacation.  Have a magical day!!
