Hi. We are planning our first trip to Disney for April 2013. My daughter will be 1 month shy of 3 years old. I want to stay at a place that is most convenient to getting to the Magic Kingdom each day. I was thinking of the Port Orleans hotel?

Holly what a wonderful age to introduce your little princess to Walt Disney World. At almost three she will be so enchanted by the magic.

Disney's Port Orleans Resorts are awesome! I plan to stay in one of the new Royal Guest rooms in Disney's Port Orleans Resort- Riverside during an upcoming trip. One of these Story Rooms filled with luxury, princess details such as fiber optic light up headboards and elegant royal touches would be a delight for your little girl. If you want to stay in a Moderate resort this one is a good location choice.

If you want a hotel close to the Magic Kingdom, a monorail resort would be your preferred choice. These three deluxe accommodations, Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, and Disney's Polynesian Resort, all are just a monorail ride away from the Magic Kingdom. Disney's Contemporary Resort also has a walkway leading to the Magic Kingdom so the theme park is just a stroll away.

No matter what resort you choose your vacation will be fabulous! Planning a first trip to Walt Disney World can be overwhelming so please ask the Moms Panel questions so we can help you create a magical trip.
