We are planning our first trip which is coming up in about 5 weeks! Eek! So many questions...which attractions/dining experiences are the hardest to get and most popular? Also, with the memory maker, does that work at all 4 parks? Thank you.

    Congratulations Theresa!

First trips to Walt Disney World are so fun. I do remember being worried about making sure we didn't miss anything.  I want to re-assure you that you will have an amazingly magical vacation no matter which attractions or dinner venues you choose.  It really is the most magical place on earth.

I have found that even though a specific dining experience or attraction is very popular, it may not be one of my family's favorites. I suggest for your first trip to make yourself familiar with the attractions and dining choices then choose what you think your family would like. After all, you know them best!

One book that I find especially helpful in planning specific attractions for my family is Birnbaum's Walt Disney World 2014. Birnbaum's is a beautiful book that gives great detail about all of Walt Disney World theme parks, resorts, dining, and attractions.  Birnbaum's is the only official Walt Disney World book. I actually have it on my bedside table. Another sit that can be helpful in planning an itinerary is touringplans.com. Touring plans, although not an official Disney site, is helpful because it gives a variety of touring advice for each unique family situation. Touring plans also takes into consideration the popularity of an attraction. The Birnbaum book tells about Walt Disney World while touring plans tells more about how to tour it.

Great news about Memory Maker ~ it does work in all 4 parks! Click this previous link to learn more.

I hope this information helps your planning. Please let us know if you have any more questions!

    Blessings,
