Planning a first trip in the busy days of July. Due to crowds and limited time (DW is a side trip) we need to focus on key attractions. We live near Disneyland and don't need to visit same attractions. Any thoughts on must sees for us? kids ages 18, 10, 7

    Hi Melissa!

This is a great question!  None of the attractions are exactly the same except for Toy Story Midway Mania and Soarin', but there are a lot of attractions that are similar with only minor tweaks.

I would definitely visit Epcot and Disney's Animal Kingdom.  Then I would visit Disney's Hollywood Studios for the Tower of Terror.  While that attraction also exists in California, it is especially well done in Florida. Finally, but only if you have the time, should you visit the Magic Kingdom; you will find the Magic Kingdom very similar to Disneyland Park.  If you go, be sure to visit the Haunted Mansion and Splash Mountain as both are much better in Florida.

I hope this helps. Please write back with more questions!
