Mom and Daughter at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort Room

    We are planning a first time visit to WDW 8/23 - 8/27 with our 9 y/o son, any recommendations for breakfast with a character and are there any specials for that time? Thanks so much!

    Hi Michelle!

    For a first time visit to Disney, I recommend dining at Chef Mickey's. Our 9 year old son is a big fan of the buffet, as well as the character interaction. This popular restaurant features Mickey and a variety of his friends. While characters are subject to change, you will often find Minnie, Goofy, Donald and Pluto. Chef Mickey's is a great way to start your day. The atmosphere is a lot of fun, complete with napkin waving and hand-clapping!  Click: HERE for more information on this wonderful restaurant. 

    As of now, the Moms Panel has not been made aware of any specials for August. You can always book your reservation by calling 407-W DISNEY,  and if a special is released you can call and request to have it added to your room.
