Welcome to planDisney Tammie!
I am so excited to hear you are taking your first Disney Cruise! You are in for the vacation of a lifetime! Captains Mickey and Minnie are so glad you will be sailing on one of their
beautiful ships.
Choosing a deck and stateroom type is up to you! The least expensive staterooms will be inside rooms (no windows) all the way up to a concierge level suite. I prefer to choose something in the middle. I like a room with a verandah as I am an early riser and enjoy getting
room service delivered and watching the sunrise over the water.
For a bit of extra space, you might opt for a Deluxe Family Stateroom, with some sleeping up to 5 guests. I don't know how many guests are in your travel party, but I suggest no more than 3-4 guests per room (since you are all adults!). Connecting rooms are available if you have multiple families or a large travel party.
Room location is very subjective! I prefer booking a room near the back of the ship (aft), and I like rooms that are 2 levels below the
pool deck. I find this to be quiet, yet only a few flights of stairs to reach the pool deck. Of course, elevators are available if you choose to avoid the stairs on the ship!
Once you select your cruise, take your time browsing your stateroom options. When you find the perfect room, go for it and lock it in with a deposit. This can all be done online or
call a friendly Disney Cruise Line agent who will be happy to assist you.
If you narrow down some options, feel free to stop back and we can let you know our thoughts on your room selection. We are always happy to share our experiences!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney and welcome aboard!
