We are planning our first family to WDW and we would like to know you recommendation on the best time to go as far as crowds, price and weather for November to March? What are some good activities for our 4yr daughter & 1yr old son?

Hello Mindee!  Welcome to the Disney Parks Mom´s Panel.

From November to March there are lots of great weeks to visit Walt Disney World, plus you are planning just in time for those dates.

Though the first weeks of November are a great time to visit, I love visiting just after Thanksgiving during the first weeks of December.  During these days all Walt Disney World parks and resorts are filled with Christmas decorations and special events.  This is a really magical time to visit Disney and weather and crowds are also great.

Usually, from the second week of January to the end of February the crowds fluctuate from moderate to low, with the exception of a few long weekends.  During these months the weather tends to be a bit colder, but still very nice considering the season.

During March you can expect way more crowds.

All four Disney parks offer a full day of activities for any family, but with two young children you will enjoy more time at Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom.
Still, Epcot features a different and more relaxing experience, while Hollywood Studios offer a more active experience, leaning more towards teenager´s taste.  Both are full day experience not to be missed.

I do recommend visiting during the lowest possible crowds and sites like Touring Plans do help choosing these dates.

Also, Advance Dining Reservations are recommended up to 180 days prior to your vacation.

When traveling with young kids, I recommend using your own strollers, arriving at park during opening time and taking a nap on days with late parks hours.

Happy to help you plan a magical Disney vacation.
Hope to hear again from you.
